Believe with us for the transformation of Ecuador!  It begins with the city of Riobamba located in the heart of Ecuador.  We are focusing our ministry on serving the pastors of that city. The ministry of Transformation Missions has three branches – The Prayer Ministry, Barnabas Ministry, and Market Ministry.

Prayer Ministry
The first, which is central to the vision of “transformation,” is Prayer.  Prayer is the heart of Transformation Missions.  The focus of the Prayer Ministry is for the gathering of the pastors and churches of the city of Riobamba (across denominations and racial lines) for prayer and intercession. God has promised...
that,  “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2Chron. 7:14).
Ecuador is a land in need of forgiveness and healing -- economic, political and even geological instability; along with social and economic injustice tear at the country like a cancer.  Weekly the pastors of Riobamba gather in unity and brotherly love to pray and intercede for their city and nation and quarterly we organize a "Clamor" which is a city wide prayer event.

Barnabus Ministry
The second branch of  “Transformation Missions” is the Barnabas Ministry.  If the Prayer Ministry is the heart of Transformation Missions, the Barnabas Ministry is the hands.  The focus of this branch of the ministry is to encourage, counsel, and help the pastors and their families.
Why “Barnabas” Ministry?   “… they sent Barnabas to Antioch.  When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts…Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch…Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught…” (Acts 11:22b-23, 25-26).
Riobamba is the heart of Ecuador, both historically and geographically.  Arriving there we found “the grace of God already at work” (Acts 11:22-23) and we became more aware that this city was central to God’s purposes for Ecuador.
In as much as Barnabas means, “son of encouragement” (Acts 4:36) and he encouraged the church of Antioch, the focus of Barnabas Ministry is to encourage the pastors of Riobamba.  
Barnabas also brought Saul to Antioch and together they taught the believers (Acts 11:26).  We have and will continue to bring resources and ministry to the pastors of Riobamba.  “Preparing God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ”  (Eph. 4:12-13). 

Market Ministry
The third branch of “Transformation Missions” is the Market Ministry.  Market Ministry is the feet of Transformation Missions.  The goal of this branch of the ministry is to influence community leaders and the local church to address the work of the Gospel and be an influence for righteousness and justice in the city of Riobamba and the nation.
There are several ministries at work in Riobamba with which we have been blessed to be affiliated.  One of these ministries’ that is impacting Riobamba is also very dear to our heart.  “The Ark” is a children’s home from which we have adopted our two youngest daughters.  The Ark is doing a tremendous work rescuing and discipling orphaned children.  You can check out “The Ark” at their web site (click on the link below):
